Sanitation & Recycling
The City of Badger contracts with an outside waste management company for solid waste collection and recycling. Everyone within the city limits is required to have garbage collection. Monthly charges are billed on your city combined utility bill.
Most trash, when contained properly, can be disposed of at curbside on the weekly garbage service day. If assistance is needed or you have questions for the city, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Recycling
The City encourages recycling. A recycling drop box is located on the north side of the City Maintenance Shop.
If the RECYCLING BIN is FULL do not leave items - please do not leave items that are not recyclable. No garbage allowed. The bin is emptied every Monday and Friday.
Garbage
The City contracts for garbage pickup with Pederson Sanitation. Have your garbage out by 5:00 am on Thursday mornings for pickup. It is best to place it out in a covered container the night before pickup. If you have problems with your trash pickup, please call Pederson Sanitation at (515) 955-4190.
